ParameterSlot

Struct ParameterSlot

Source
pub struct ParameterSlot(/* private fields */);
Expand description

One slot of a ParameterTable, opaque.

phase-382 W3’ — what a caller CARVES when it places a table in memory it already owns (the executor’s backing). The slot layout is Option<ParameterEntry> and stays private; this wrapper publishes only its size and alignment (size_of::<ParameterSlot>()), which is exactly what a region placement needs, and ParameterTable::init_in is the one way to turn carved, uninitialised slots into a table.

repr(transparent), so a [ParameterSlot] IS a [Option<ParameterEntry>] and the table borrows it without a copy.
