pub struct MonitorArming {
pub on_call: bool,
pub grace_ms: u32,
}Expand description
phase-474 I2 – when an executor’s contract monitors start judging.
A verdict reached before arming is COUNTED
(Executor::violations_suppressed_before_arm, and the SWD record’s
suppressed_before_arm) but not stored, logged, sunk or traced: start-up
– registration, the first join, inputs that have not started yet – looks
like overruns, jitter and silence, and judging it as steady state filled
the island’s ring with eight start-up entries before any act ran.
The default is read from Kconfig / the build environment only
(NROS_MONITOR_ARM_ON_CALL, NROS_MONITOR_ARM_GRACE_MS); the contract
carries no key for it.
Fields§
§on_call: boolWait for request_monitor_arming / Executor::arm_monitors.
false (the default) arms at the first spin, today’s behaviour.
grace_ms: u32Arm anyway this many ms after the first spin; 0 = no deadline. With
on_call it is the backstop for an application that never calls; on
its own it is a grace period for an application with no lifecycle.
Implementations§
Source§impl MonitorArming
impl MonitorArming
Sourcepub const DEFAULT: Self
pub const DEFAULT: Self
The build’s default (NROS_MONITOR_ARM_ON_CALL,
NROS_MONITOR_ARM_GRACE_MS).
Sourcepub const fn armed_at_first_spin(self) -> bool
pub const fn armed_at_first_spin(self) -> bool
Armed from the start: no wait for a call and no grace period.
