RFC-0045 / issue #206 — boot-config resolution error. Malformed or out-of-range identity input (env or baked) is an ERROR, never a silent fallback: a typo’d ROS_DOMAIN_ID must not invisibly move a node to domain 0 (the pre-#206 C++ behavior) or be silently ignored (the pre-#206 behavior of this resolver). Why a filter or sched binding could not be recorded.

issue 1172 — these three calls used to DROP whatever did not fit and return nothing, so a tier ran on a filter quietly narrower than the one it was given, or a node sat on the wrong sched context, with nothing to read that said why. The tables are fixed-capacity, so both failures are real and the caller has to be able to tell them apart: one is a name the storage cannot hold, the other is an image that declared more than it sized for.

Variants§

§

NameTooLong

A name, namespace or group id is longer than its heapless::String.

§

TableFull

The fixed table is full — the image declared more entries than the executor was sized for.
